Clinical Ethics Roundtable: Reconstituting the person in clinical care, 5 Aug 2025

The clinical ethics team at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network invite you to attend the next Clinical Ethics Roundtable, Reconstituting the person in clinical care, to be held online, Tuesday 5 August 2025, 7pm-8.30pm (AEST).

We will be reflecting on the philosophical relationship between parts and wholes, and respecting persons in healthcare. We hope to explore whether our health system truly reflects person centred care or 'parts of persons' centred care, and what are our obligations and capacity to reconstitute the person with exigent forces that arguably tend to deconstituting? The SCHN CESS team will present and will focus on a child's story and the potentially reconstituting role of clinical ethics to anchor our discussion.
